ES Capstone Research

Welcome to Whee Feed The Bees, an informational website about pollinator habitats at Western Carolina University. Our goal is to spread awareness about the importance and function of pollinator habitats and educate the community on techniques for creating and maintaining them. We are a part of the Environmental Science 2023 Capstone class and have conducted research on pollinators and their habitats. On this website, you will find information on the benefits of pollinators, ways to create a pollinator-friendly environment, and tips for maintaining it. We hope that our website will inspire you to take action and join us in protecting pollinators and their habitats. At Whee Feed The Bees, we are passionate about environmental protection and making a difference, and we hope to share that passion with you. Join us in our mission to protect our planet!

Our Goals

Our main goal is to increase awareness of the importance of pollinator habitats and encourage the community to take action to protect them. We want to promote sustainable practices and provide resources for creating and maintaining pollinator habitats. Our hope is that by educating the community, we can create a more pollinator-friendly environment and protect these vital species. We have conducted research on pollinators and their habitats and have developed techniques for creating and maintaining pollinator habitats. We want to share this knowledge with the community and inspire them to take action and be aware of the pollinators at work in our community!

Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved and help protect pollinators and their habitats. You can start by creating a pollinator-friendly environment in your own backyard or community. Our website provides resources and tips for creating and maintaining pollinator habitats. You can also support organizations that work to protect pollinators and their habitats. Consider donating to a local organization or volunteering your time. Together, we can make a difference and protect pollinators and their habitats for future generations.
